Mia Khalifa: Porn star’s frank warning to young girls about the industry

Mia Khalifa, one of PornHub’s most searched for women, has issued a frank warning about the industry.

She has taken to TikTok to talk about her career and explained how it damaged her mental health.

The 27-year-old is also begging young women not to go into the porn industry.

“That hourly dissociative attack from remembering hundreds of millions of people’s only impression of you is solely based on the lowest, most toxic, most uncharacteristic three months of your life when you were 21,” she said.

The young woman, based in Austin, Texas, only worked in the industry for three months, making just 11 films in 2014.

She said the clips will haunt her until she dies.

Khalifa also replied to a woman’s TikTok comment to tell her that making porn was not worth it, according to the NZ Herald.

Over the years, Khalifa has said she’s tried to have the videos removed from different porn websites.

She says she only made $17,000AUD for the clips at the time and no money has come her way since.

Khalifa also replied to comments from Instagram user poppymillsx about porn’s exploration of woman, the NZ Herald reports.

“Women like Mia Khalifa have videos out there from years ago that will never go away,” poppymillsx said.

“Women are haunted by the decisions they made years ago.”

Khalifa then replied to the support, echoing her sentiment.

“Those 11 videos will haunt me until I die, and I don’t want another girl to go through that – because no one should,” she said.

  1. It’s sad … young girls are promised fame, but then are treated like cattle. She could have made that much working at The Home Depot over those months. I’m glad she’s being honest about the realities of a very scummy business.
