Neha Kakkar is undoubtedly amongst the talented singers of Bollywood and she enjoys a massive fan following. From singing devotional songs in her small-town to singing chartbuster hits like O Saki Saki, Aankh Marey, Dilbar, and many more Neha has come a long way from where she started. Behind all the stardom and glory the adorable singer does get criticized by people and has negative comments coming her way.
However, Neha Kakkar doesn’t seem to bother much about the hatred she receives as she feels like people criticize her because she is number one. In a recent interaction, she said, “Of course, I am a human being and I do feel bad about it, but after feeling bad I bounce back. I feel these people who are writing bad (things) about me are nothing but jealous people. They feel, why is Neha here?’ Jo number one singer hai uske hi baare main likhengay log (they will write about the singer who is number one).”
The Garmi singer, further added that she understands all the criticism and where it comes from. Neha said that she is number one and that is why people talk about her and get jealous. The 31-year old also mentioned that she doesn’t worry about haters as they are limited in number. Clarifying her statement she said, “Jealous people are few and lovers are like in crores.”
Although Neha had support in the industry because of her sister Sonu Kakkar, the former had to face her own share of struggle. In no time she went from becoming no one to the queen of remixes through sheer hard work and passion.
When asked about how she feels about singing remake songs which later get trolled by people, Neha had a cool reply. She said, “I feel if it’s a good remix then (there is) no problem, because it’s done with permission.” She went on to say that people initially behave negatively and say that we have destroyed the song, only to dance and enjoy listening to it later.
On the professional front, Neha Kakkar recently featured in a song with rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh titled, ‘Moscow Suka’. The song released in April till now as gathered 27, 129, 364 views.
